Now that you have chosen your hosting platform, outlined your show, recorded your first episodes, and created your evergreen intro, it’s time to hit PUBLISH.
So what exactly does that mean? In podcasting terms, this means you submit your show to Apple for approval and your first episodes are live for the world to hear!
Let’s break that down.
You will need to ‘connect’ your show to listening platforms like Apple, Spotify, Google Play, etc. This is a process you will only need to complete once. After that – each time you upload audio into your hosting platform, it will automatically be available on those listening platforms.
I understand that this part of the process can feel overwhelming, but believe me – the steps are easy to follow when you know which ones they actually are.
In this module, we dive into:
-
What elements are needed for Apple submission,
-
The exact steps to submit your show to Apple, and
-
How to ‘hide’ your show until you’re ready for launch day.
Oh yeah – I forgot to add in one final step:
CELEBRATE.
You deserve it.
It’s no small fete to create and publish a podcast. Now go celebrate! And maybe even record the celebration – who knows what you might be able to capture!
Take a listen and enjoy! And if you would like to have the Apple submission steps visually, email me at hello@elizabethevans.co and I’ll send you exactly what I send my clients!
I’ll reply back (I promise, it’s actually me!) and we will get you up and running!
