I went live on Instagram last week to chat with a licensed mental health counselor on how to lessen our anxiety and find clarity to make an impact.
She was so wise and invited us into the reality that if our mindset is anxious and our nervous system is on overdrive, we are shutting down our ability to think clearly and be creative. Whether that be creativity in your podcast, in your business or creativity in how to help others.
In effort to help clear the chaos in your mind to gracefully navigate this uncertain time, I recorded a few guided mindfulness practices suggested during the live (one with background ocean sounds , one without. I’m bringing back my yoga teaching days!).
Each morning, walk through this guided practice to reset your brain and dive into creativity mode by thinking of solutions to the new problems of your podcast listeners, your business, your neighbors – wherever it is you believe your impact is most needed.
Here are a few questions to think through after listening to the practice:
How do I want to position myself and my podcast on the other side of this season?
How can I use my podcast to help gear up for launches, events, and services that are delayed at the moment and will re-launch?
How can I use my podcast to help other business owners?
What does my community need to hear on the podcast right now?
Who would be the most beneficial guest to have on the show?
I hope the meditation and questions prompt you into your most creative season yet.
